“Postcard from Kefalonia” – Spitfire Audio Sample Libraries

This is a short video that I put together after a trip to the island of Kefalonia in Greece during the Summer of 2016. What I was trying to achieve with this video is to capture the essence of my trip both through images and music within just three minute or so.

Kefalonia is where the movie Captain Corelli’s Mandolin was filmed and the latter half of the soundtrack has strong influences to that movie. But other than that, Kefalonia is a wonderfully tranquil and relaxing location and that is what I tried to convey musically in the first half.

A number of sample libraries from Spitfire Audio were employed for the soundtrack, including one called Mandolin Swam.
